About Me

Ashley Strosnider

Ashley Strosnider

Content editor by day, book editor by night—basically a superhero.
Ashley Strosnider is a writer and editor living in Nashville, TN. By day, she’s the senior editor at Compose.ly, where she collaborates with 100+ freelance writers and editors to help major global brands across industries tell their stories and connect with their audiences. She’s also a freelance editor specializing in book-length manuscripts, with soft spots for literary and upmarket contemporary women’s fiction, cozy mysteries, romance, and marketing and business leadership. Her clients include traditionally published authors, indie writers, agents, and small presses. She recently served as managing editor at Prairie Schooner and the African Poetry Book Fund. She holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of South Carolina, where she was a James Dickey Fellow. Her work appears in Monkeybicycle, Joyland, New South, Fifth Wednesday, and Smokelong Quarterly, among others. When she’s not editing, hiking, watering 40+ houseplants, or watching hockey, she’s working on a novel of her own. Find her on Twitter @bravenewlady.
